The Flying Eagles started as a summer camp in 2021 with a mission to decrease the gender gap in the STEM workforce by creating a judgement-free STEM summer camp for girls. Many studies show that gender stereotypes and social norms undermine girls' interest in STEM, especially technology & engineering.  We set out to help resolve this problem by providing opportunities for girls to explore STEM.

Since our first summer camp, the Flying Eagles has expanded into an ongoing club for both girls and boys to share a love for STEM, especially drones.  The Flying Eagles has hosted various sessions, both in class and after-school, for girls and boys to explore technology & engineering.
